Moss Earns NFCA All-Region Honors

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa softball junior Rylie Moss has earned NFCA Midwest third-team All-Region honors, the association announced on Thursday.

Moss led the team hitting .390 in 39 games which was sixth best in the Big Ten. She started every game in right field before suffering a season-ending injury against Nebraska. The Muscatine, Iowa, native recorded a hit in all but seven games in which she played and had a career-high 14 game on base streak. The junior had 14 multi-hit games including two three-hit games against CSU-Bakersfield and Michigan.

In Big Ten play, Moss started 17 games and finished second on the team hitting .400. She had a multi-hit game in her final three games of the 2024 season.

The Hawkeyes have had all-region honorees in the past four seasons. Moss is the third Hawkeye to earn third-team honors (Holly Hoffman in 2016 and Tatianna Roman in 2023).
