PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
» Iowa was the first program in the Big Ten conference to compete in back-to-back National Championships.
» National Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark, was the first Division-I player to record 3,950+ points, 1,100+ assists, and 975+ rebounds in a career.
» Clark is the only player in major college women’s basketball to lead her conference in scoring and assists in four consecutive seasons.
» Iowa had beaten all four of the teams it has lost to previously this season. (Indiana, K-State, Nebraska, and Ohio State.
» The Hawkeyes had also avenged six of their seven losses from a season ago. (K-State,UConn, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, and LSU)
» Iowa tied Purdue (1998-99) and Maryland (2014-15) for most wins in B1G history. (34)
» The Hawkeyes won 15+ games inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena in four out of the last six seasons, which is the best six-year stretch in program history.
» Iowa has now won four of the last six Big Ten Tournament titles (2019, 2022, 2023 and 2024).
» Clark was the first Division I women’s basketball player to eclipse 1,000-points in backto-back seasons.
» Iowa WBB has helped sellout or break an attendance record in 37 of 39 games this regular season. The other two games in which Iowa did not set a record was the first round and championship of the Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Fla.
» Over the last two seasons, Iowa has won 65 games which is the best two-year stretch in program history.
» Bluder owns a 528-254 (.675) record and a 262-144 (.645) conference mark at Iowa. In her 39 seasons as a head coach, Bluder is 884-396 (.691).
