MADISON, Wis. – Senior Paula Miranda leads the University of Iowa women’s golf team with a two-over par 74, putting her in a tie for 15th place after round one at the Badger Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the University Ridge Golf Course.
Sophomore Ximena Benites and junior transfer Adie Maki (playing as an individual) both shot a 75 (+3) and sit in a tie for 20th on the leaderboard.
As a team, Iowa shot an opening round 300 (+14), putting it in seventh place.
UTSA is the team leader at +7, while Rutgers’ Lucrezia Rossettin is atop the individual leaderboard at -3.
