IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa rowing schedule has officially been released for the 2024-25 academic year by head coach Jeff Garbutt.
The Hawkeyes will begin their season on the road, traveling to Bloomington, Indiana to race against the Hoosiers October 4-5. Iowa will return home for the Iowa Chase on the Iowa River on Oct. 19.
The Hawkeyes competed in 12 competitions throughout the fall and spring seasons. Iowa returns nine seniors, seven juniors and 20 sophomores.
Iowa looks to continue to build off last season, tailing 16 outright victories. Finishing eighth at the Big Ten Championship, with the II Novice Eight placing second, the Hawkeyes are eager to get back out on the water and continue to improve. The Hawkeyes had three All-Big Ten honorees last season including, Emma Dabinett (First Team), Abbey Klostermann (Second Team), and Karire Evans (Sportsmanship Award).
