WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The University of Iowa men’s golf team finished two rounds of play at the Purdue Invitational on Sunday. The Hawkeyes currently sit tied for fifth out of 15 teams.
Sophomore Noah Kent is leading the Hawkeyes, tied for fourth place overall at 2-under par. Kent shot a 2-under in the first round and even par in the second round, finishing with a total score of 142.
Junior Gage Messingham finished the day tied for 28th place overall. The Arvada, Colorado, native shot a 1-over 73 in the first round and a 3-over 75 in the second round. Josh Lundmark posted scores of 76 and 73 in the first and second rounds, respectively.
