CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The University of Iowa women’s golf team fired a final round 313 to close out play at the Cavalier Regional Preview on Tuesday at Birdwood Golf Club. The Hawkeyes finished 10th with a 921 (304-304-313).
Senior Paula Miranda led the team, tying for 26th place with a 223 (76-72-75). Her third round of the tournament included 14 pars and two birdies en route to her four-over 75.
North Carolina claimed the team title with a 22-under 830. The Tar Heels’ Inez Ng was the individual medalist with a 12-under par 201.
