IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head baseball coach Rick Heller released details of the Hawkeyes’ 55-game regular season on Thursday. The 2025 slate features 22 games at Duane Banks Field. Iowa will begin its season at South Florida in Tampa, Florida, from Feb. 14-16. The Hawkeyes open their home portion of the schedule on Feb. 18, hosting Loras College.
SCHEDULE NOTES
- Iowa will play a non conference tournament at Stetson in Deland, Florida on Feb. 21-23 and a neutral site four-game series with Washington State in Cleburne, Texas, at La Moderna Field on Feb. 27-Mar. 2.
- The Hawkeyes return to Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa, for the second straight season, playing Oregon State in a three-game series May 9-11.
- The Hawkeyes host Michigan State (March 14-16), Ohio State (March 21-23), Nebraska (April 11-13), Indiana (April 25-27) and Oregon (May 15-17) in league play and travel for road conference series at Rutgers (March 7-9), Minnesota (March 28-30), Northwestern (April 4-6), Michigan (April 18-20) and Washington (May 2-4).
- The Hawkeyes play midweek contests at home against Loras College, St. Thomas, UIC, Bradley, Western Illinois and Illinois State. The team hits the road for midweek games at Bradley, Illinois State, Milwaukee and UIC.
- The Big Ten Tournament will be held at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, from May 21-26.
The Hawkeyes finished the 2024 season with a 31-23 overall record. Iowa finished fourth in the Big Ten regular season standings and made its ninth straight Big Ten Tournament appearance.
