DECORAH, Iowa – The University of Iowa men’s wrestling program won three titles Saturday at the Luther Open. 11 Hawkeyes combined for seven pins and nine technical falls and a 36-13 record.
Freshman Kael Voinovich won the Elite 149-pound division while Keyan Hernandez won the silver 125-pound division and Miguel Estrada won the silver 149-pound division.
Five other Hawkeyes found the podium on Friday afternoon. In the elite division Koye Grebel (149) and Aidan Harris (141) each finished fourth while Sebastian Robles (165) finished seventh. In the silver division Dru Ayala (125) finished as runner-up to Hernandez, Brady Benham (165) finished fourth and Brody Sampson finished fifth (197).

Iowa returns to action Friday, Nov. 15 at Bellarmine. The Hawkeyes and Knights meet at 6 p.m. (CT) in Louisville, Kentucky.
