IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa women's basketball senior Lucy Olsen has been named to the 2024-25 John R. Wooden Award Top 25 Midseason Watch List as announced by the Los Angeles Athletics Club earlier this week.
Olsen leads the Hawkeyes in assists, assist-to-turnover ratio, free throw percentage and scoring. The Collegeville, Pennsylvania native paces Iowa with 17 ppg, 4.9 apg, and 3.6 rpg.
Olsen has scored double figures on 13 out of 14 occasions and 20+ a team-best four times as a Hawkeye. A season ago, Olsen was earned honorable mention All-America accolades at Villanova as the nation's third leading scorer.
Olsen and the Hawkeyes return to action on Sunday, Jan. 12 inside a sold out Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa hosts Indiana and tip-off is set for 2 p.m. (CT) and the game will air on Peacock (subscription required).
