Hawkeyes Sign 4 to 2025 Roster

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa volleyball program has signed four transfers to its 2025 roster, head coach Jim Barnes announced on Wednesday.

Liberos and defensive specialists Allison Berent (Alabama), Milana Moisio (Miami) and Greta Schlichter (Syracuse) join the program this month, along with outside hitter Chard’e Vanzandt (Chattanooga). Incoming freshman Gia McGrew will also join the team this spring.

“We are excited to welcome four transfers that will fill big needs for our team in 2025,” Barnes said. “We addressed our libero needs with three outstanding student-athletes who have high-level experience. Allison is a great athlete with intense effort. Greta is a terrific leader and possesses plenty of athleticism. Milana plays with outstanding toughness and experience. Offensively, Chard’e is an incredible athlete that will give us a big punch on the left side. Gia will arrive early and make a big impact as well. We have 15 outstanding student-athletes to train this spring and build for the fall season.”
