Johnson-Arigu Joins Program as Mid-Year Transfer

IOWA CITY, Iowa –  Isaiah Johnson-Arigu has joined the University of Iowa men’s basketball program as a mid-year transfer from the University of Miami (Fla.), the announcement was made Tuesday by head coach Fran McCaffery.

The 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward will practice with the team, but he cannot see any game action.  Johnson-Arigu will have three seasons of eligibility remaining as a Hawkeye.

• Led Totino-Grace to its third straight Class 3A state title as a senior with a 25-point, 11-rebound, three-assist performance in the championship game

The Hawkeyes return to action Tuesday, hosting Minnesota at 8 p.m. (CT) on Mediacom Court inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
