IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Six University of Iowa football student-athletes were named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, it was announced Tuesday by the association.
The Hawkeye honorees include seniors Luke Lachey (3.74, CLAS non-degree student), Mason Richman (3.74, CLAS non-degree student) and Quinn Schulte (3.73, CLAS non-degree student), juniors Gennings Dunker (3.84, human physiology) and Aaron Graves (4.00, sport & recreation management) and sophomore Zach Lutmer (3.57, exercise science).
It is the third straight year Richman and Schulte have earned the CSC Academic All-District honor. Schulte was also a second-team Academic All-American a season ago.
Dunker, Graves and Schulte are CSC Academic All-America finalists. They will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on Jan. 28, 2025.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 grade point average or higher and have one year completed in college. On the field, student-athletes must have played in 90 percent or started 66 percent of the total games played.
