Hawkeyes Host Augustana

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team welcomes Augustana to Duane Banks Field on Tuesday for a midweek matchup at 4:05 p.m. (CDT). Admission is $5.

The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 7-7 record, while the Vikings sit at 4-4 on the season.

As a team, Augustana is hitting .292, and its pitching staff has a 4.96 ERA. The Vikings are led by Ryan Coon with a .500 batting average and 13 runs scored. Kaileb Hackman leads the team with two home runs and 13 RBIs.

Overall, the Hawkeyes are hitting .307 as a team with 21 home runs. The Iowa pitching staff has a 4.08 ERA and is led by Aaron Savary, who is 3-0 with a 1.66 ERA.

Caleb Wulf leads the team with a .391 batting average followed by Gable Mitchell with a .382. Jackson Beaman leads the team with seven home runs and 15 RBIs.
