University of Iowa women’s wrestler Nanea Estrella has been selected as the inaugural female winner of the Big Ten Jackie Robinson Community & Impact Award. Estrella was presented with the award by Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti on Monday after practice.
University of Iowa junior Kennedy Blades has been named USA Wrestling’s Women’s College Wrestler of the Year, it was announced by the organization on Tuesday.
University of Iowa women’s wrestler Naomi Simon took first place at the 2025 Women’s National Championship at 76kg. The win secures Simon’s spot on the 2025 U20 World Team for the second straight year.
