Hawkeyes Travel to Illinois State

The University of Iowa baseball team will head to Normal, Illinois, on Tuesday for a midweek matchup with Illinois State at 5 p.m. (CDT).

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa baseball team heads to Illinois State on Tuesday for a midweek matchup at 5 p.m. (CDT). Admission is free.

The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 14-8 record, while the Redbirds sit at 8-13 on the season.

As a team, Illinois State is hitting .284, and its pitching staff has a 6.63 ERA. The Redbirds are led by Daniel Pacella with a .419 batting average and 22 runs scored. Judah Morris leads the team with nine home runs and 25 RBIs.

Overall, the Hawkeyes are hitting .312 as a team with 33 home runs. The Iowa pitching staff has a 3.71 ERA and is led by Aaron Savary, who is 4-0 with a 3.06 ERA.
