The 32nd-ranked University of Iowa women’s tennis team will head west to close out the regular season this weekend. The Hawkeyes will face Oregon on Friday at 1 p.m. (CT) at the Student Tennis Center squaring off against No. 18 Washington on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Bill Quillian Tennis Stadium.

THE OPPONENTS
• The Ducks are 8-12 overall and 1-10 in Big Ten play. Oregon’s lone conference win came over Indiana (4-3)on March 28.
• Oregon leads the all-time series, 4-1. The Hawkeyes won the last meeting, winning 5-2 in 2014.
• Washington is currently 17-3 overall and 9-2 in Big Ten play, which is tied for third in the league. The Huskies dropped a 4-1 decision at Michigan, snapping the team’s eight-match winning streak.
• The Huskies’ Reece Carter is ranked No. 94 in the ITA singles rankings, while Carter and Alexia Jacobs are ranked No. 52 in doubles.

The Hawkeyes fell 4-0 to No. 16 USC on April 13 at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Iowa recognized seniors Barbora Pokorna and Marisa Schmidt prior to the match.
