Iowa Softball Signs 3 Transfers for 2025-26

Three student-athletes -- Breanna Caffery, Kiara Sipe, and Serayah Neiss -- have signed with the University of Iowa softball program. It was announced Friday by head coach Stacy May-Johnson.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Three student-athletes -- Breanna Caffery, Kiara Sipe, and Serayah Neiss -- have signed with the University of Iowa softball program. It was announced Friday by head coach Stacy May-Johnson.

Neiss has one season of eligibility remaining, Caffery has two, and Sipe has three. Sipe and Neiss both played under May-Johnson at Fresno State.

  • Started 21 games at either shortstop or second base and had an .875 fielding percentage

  • Recorded a career-high eight strikeouts against New Mexico (April 18)
  • Went a perfect 10-0 in the circle in Mountain West play and was a Mountain West all-tournament team selection
  • Has 40 career wins in the circle with a 2.71 ERA across 439.2 innings pitched with 321 strikeouts
