BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 15 University of Iowa women’s soccer team defeated Indiana, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Bill Armstrong Stadium. The Hawkeyes finish the regular season at 11-3-4 overall and 6-2-3 in Big Ten Conference play.
It was a defensive battle through the first 45 minutes, as Iowa outshot Indiana, 3-2, and held a 2-1 edge in shots on goal.
Graduate student Kenzie Roling and junior Sofia Bush each put a shot on goal for the Hawkeyes, but the match remained scoreless at halftime.
Bush broke the tie in the 73rd minute with an assist from senior Shae Doherty, giving Iowa a 1-0 advantage. The goal was the first of the season for Bush.
Junior Millie Greer extended the lead in the 85th minute, finishing a feed from sophomore Iba Oching to give Iowa a two-goal cushion in the closing minutes.
After totaling three shots in the first half, the Hawkeyes outshot Indiana, 12-3, in the second period. The Iowa defense held the Hoosiers to just five shots and one on goal for the match.

- It marked the first start for Fife since Sept. 21, 2023, at Wisconsin while marking the first start of Binggeli’s career.
- The first shot of the match between either team came in the 29th minute of the first half with Roling firing a shot on goal that was saved.
- Iowa improves to 14-11-1 all-time against Indiana. DiIanni is now 5-3-1 against the Hoosiers in his tenure.
