The University of Iowa women’s golf team will travel to Hutchinson, Kansas, on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 6-7, for the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Presented by PDI at Prairie Dunes Country Club (par 70, 6,005 yards). The 54-hole tournament will begin with 36 holes Monday, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. CT, followed by 18 holes Tuesday with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT.

Prairie Dunes is regularly ranked among the top golf courses in the United States for its classic design, natural terrain, and consistent challenge. It has hosted multiple USGA and NCAA championships, cementing its reputation as a premier championship venue.
HOME VICTORY
The University of Iowa women’s golf team claimed the team title at the Diane Thomason Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Finkbine Golf Course, firing a 54-hole total of 889 (296-303-290). The Hawkeyes successfully defended their title, having also won the invitational last year.
OF NOTE…
• Junior Maura Peters led Iowa with an even-par 72 in the final round of the Diane Thomason Invitational, finishing tied for fifth with a 54-hole total of 220 (75-73-72). It marks her second straight top-10 finish and the third of her career.
• Senior Shannyn Vogler is coming off a season-best 221 (76-72-72), tying for eighth place. The performance marked the second top-10 finish of her career.
• Senior Riley Lewis and freshman Sunny Wang both captured top-20 finishes at the Diane Thomason Invitational
• Iowa has had the same five golfers compete in each of the first three tournaments.
