9 Hawkeyes Recognized By Big Ten

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa’s starting five on the offensive line headline a group of nine Hawkeye offensive student-athletes earning All-Big Ten recognition. The announcement was made Thursday by the Big Ten Conference.

All five offensive linemen, who started all 12 games, earned postseason accolades. Center Logan Jones was tabbed first-team all-conference by both league head coaches and voting media. Guard Beau Stephens was a first-team honoree by the coaches and was on the media’s second team. Tackle Gennings Dunker was on the coaches’ first team and third team by the media. Tackle Trevor Lauck was a third team honoree by the coaches and honorable mention by the media, while guard Kade Pieper was third team by the media and honorable mention by the coaches.

Other Hawkeye offensive players earning honorable mention accolades include tight end Hayden Large (coaches; media), wide receiver Jacob Gill (media) and running back Kamari Moulton (coaches; media). Quarterback Mark Gronowski was honored with the team’s Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.

Jones started all 12 games at center in 2025 and has 50 career starts. A 2025 Outland Trophy finalist, Jones is the top-rated center in the country by Pro Football Focus -- by almost three grade points -- and has not been flagged for an offensive holding penalty in 2025. A three-time all-conference honoree, Jones and the Hawkeye offensive line out-rushed their opponents nine times in 2025. The native of Council Bluffs, Iowa, helped Gronowski rush for a program-record 15 touchdowns in 2025, the most by an Iowa quarterback in a single-season.

Stephens has started 17 straight games, dating back to last season, and 33 contests overall at left guard. Dunker, a two-time all-conference honoree, started all 12 games in 2025 and 37 overall at right tackle. Lauck and Pieper earned their first career starts in 2025 and started all 12 contests. The unit became the first Hawkeye offensive line to start the same five players all 12 regular season games since 2013. Its strong performance and season-long consistency garnered the unit recognition as a Joe Moore Award semifinalist.

Large was Iowa’s best blocking tight end in 2025, helping pave the way to 2,133 rushing yards. The native of Hudsonville, Michigan, also caught eight passes for 52 yards.

Gill led Hawkeye receivers with 22 receptions for 260 yards and one touchdown – a game-tying grab in the closing minutes of regulation in the come-from-behind win over Michigan State. Gill made the spectacular 13-yard grab in the corner of the end zone, which tied the game after the successful PAT.

Moulton led the Hawkeye tailbacks with 783 rushing yards and four touchdowns. The sophomore also caught 15 passes for 95 yards to total 878 all-purpose yards, second most on the team (Kaden Wetjen - 1,192). Moulton rushed for a season-high 99 yards in Iowa’s victory over Penn State and rushed for a pair of scores in the convincing win at Nebraska.

Gronowski directed Iowa’s offense in 2025, setting multiple school records in the process. The graduate student broke program records for most single season rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (15) and rushing yards (491). He also became the first Hawkeye to rush, throw and receive a touchdown in the same game (at USC). Gronowski totaled 2,020 yards of total offense this season (1,529 passing; 491 rushing).

Twelve Hawkeye defensive and specialists were honored by the Big Ten Conference on Tuesday, giving the program a total of 21 All-Big Ten honors for the season.

Iowa finished the regular season 8-4 overall and 6-3 in conference play for the second straight season. The Hawkeyes will learn their bowl destination Sunday, Dec. 7.
