HEAR FROM HEAD COACH LLEWELLLYN
"I am really proud of the team and how they jelled together to handle certain moments today. While it’s a bummer to know we left quite a bit out there, I thought we did a great job of fighting all the way through the remaining events after facing some early adversity. Our athletes settled into the competition as each event went on, and I was pleased to see some really big amplitude and clean execution on vault. It was fun to see a couple of people get high scores on floor, and we saw some great moments of growth on beam from both our veterans and some new faces. Despite the score, I’m happy we had these moments to learn from so that we can come back even stronger next week."
