NCAA First, Second Rounds Sold Out

The 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball First and Second Round sessions are sold out.

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The 2026 NCAA Women’s Basketball First and Second Round sessions, featuring the University of Iowa, 7-seed Georgia, 10-seeds Arizona State/Virginia, and 15-seed Fairleigh Dickinson women’s basketball teams, set for Saturday, March 21 and Monday, March 23 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena are officially sold out. The announcement was made Tuesday by the UI Athletics Department.

On Thursday night, UI will host a first four game between 10-seeds Arizona State and Virginia at 8 p.m. (CT). Tickets are still available for this matchup at hawkeyesports.com/tickets.

Carver-Hawkeye Arena will host a first-round matchup between No. 7-seed Georgia and the winner of Arizona State/Virginia on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (CT). After the conclusion of that game, No. 2 seed Iowa (26-6) will take on 15th-seeded Fairleigh Dickinson at approximately 3 p.m. (CT) on ESPN.

Iowa has hosted the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament eight times, dating back to 2013 and four of the last five seasons. The Hawkeyes have sold out the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament three consecutive times (2023, 2024)

ADA PARKING
Located in Lot 40, across the street from the south entrance of Carver-Hawkeye Arena. A state-issued ADA parking placard or license plate is required for entry.

HANCHER SHUTTLE
ADA-accessible CAMBUS shuttles will be operated from Hancher Auditorium (Lot 55) starting 90 minutes before tip-off of the first game each day.
