IOWA CITY, Iowa - The University of Iowa baseball team welcomes Western Illinois on Tuesday and the University of Illinois Chicago on Wednesday to Duane Banks Field for midweek matchups. First pitch is scheduled for 6:02 p.m., and admission is $5 for both games.
The Hawkeyes enter the contest with a 21–16 record, while the Leathernecks sit at 11–26 and the Flames are 15–21–1 overall.
The Leathernecks are hitting .272 as a team, led by Liam Bushey, who is batting .331 with 11 home runs, while Isaiah Monge leads the team with 11 doubles. On the mound, Western Illinois has a 7.08 team ERA. Opponents are hitting .303 against the Leathernecks.
