GLENDALE, Calif. — The University of Iowa women’s golf team completed the second round of the Big Ten Championships on Saturday at Oakmont Country Club. The Hawkeyes are tied for 12th place after posting a 23-over-par 303 in Round 2.
Senior Riley Lewis led Iowa in the second round with a 3-over-par 73. She recorded three birdies and 10 pars and is tied for 28th place.
Junior Maura Peters shot a 5-over-par 75, tallying three birdies and 11 pars. She is tied for 37th place.
Junior Ximena Benites carded a 6-over-par 76, finishing the round with 14 pars. She is tied for 21st place.
Senior Kaitlyn Hanna shot a 9-over-par 79, while sophomore Lily Huether finished with a 12-over-par 82.
USC leads the field at 4-under par, followed by Ohio State and Purdue at 7-over.
