GLENDALE, Calif. — The University of Iowa women’s golf team wrapped up play at the Big Ten Championships on Sunday at Oakmont Country Club.
The Hawkeyes finished 12th with a 54-hole total of 901 (295-303-303).
Senior Riley Lewis paced Iowa, tying for 22nd place. She carded a 3-over-par 73 in the final round, recording four birdies and eight pars.
Junior Ximena Benites and junior Maura Peters each posted a 7-over-par 77 on Sunday. Benites recorded 10 pars to tie for 29th place, while Peters tallied nine pars and two birdies to finish tied for 50th.
Sophomore Lily Huether shot a 6-over-par 76 to place 84th, while senior Kaitlyn Hanna carded a 14-over-par 84 to finish 90th.
USC won the team title with a 54-hole total of 844. Jasmine Koo of USC earned medalist honors with a 3-under-par 207 (69-70-68).
