IOWA CITY, IOWA - Texas A&M transfer Savannah Hutchins has signed a scholarship agreement with the University of Iowa women’s soccer program, head coach Dean Ward announced Wednesday. Hutchins will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
“We are excited to add Savannah to our roster,” said Ward. “We believe that her speed, versatility and experience will make an impact to our attacking group. Savannah is very motivated and we look forward to her making an impact here at Iowa.”
In her sophomore season, Hutchins appeared in 11 matches with six starts. She logged 444 minutes on the pitch and recorded her first career assist against LSU.
Hutchins spent her freshman season at North Carolina State, where she appeared in four matches.
A California native, she played at Moorpark High School and competed with Slammers HB Koge at the club level. Hutchins was also a member of Canada Soccer’s U-17 squad for the 2022 U-17 Women’s Revelations Cup.
