IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Big Ten Conference set the opponent rotations for the 2026 and 2027 Big Ten Volleyball seasons, the league announced on Monday.
With the conference implementing an end-of-season league tournament, the regular season slate has been shaved down to 17 conference matches. The schedule has shifted to a single-play round robin format.
In 2026, Iowa will travel for nine away Big Ten matches, while hosting eight at Xtream Arena. The 2027 conference schedule will flip.
The Hawkeyes will host Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin in their eight home matches. Iowa will travel to Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oregon, Penn State and Washington.
In 2025, Iowa welcomed Minnesota, Ohio State, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes will travel to Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Oregon and Washington for consecutive seasons.
