IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa sophomore Aurélie Tran has been named a College Sports Communicators third-team Academic All-American, the announcement was made Tuesday by the CSC.
She was selected to the 2025-26 women’s at-large team.
The Repentigny, Quebec, Canada, native has posted a 4.00 grade point average, while majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology. She was also an Academic All-Big Ten and a Dean’s and President’s List selection during her sophomore season.
In competition, Tran earned WCGA postseason first-team All-America honors after tying for second on uneven bars with a 9.9750 at the NCAA Championships. She also won the NCAA Regional bars title with a program record 10.0 and was a WCGA second-team All-American on bars and all-around during the regular season.
The first-team All-Big Ten honoree shared the league’s bar title at the Big Ten Championships en route to being selected to the All-Championship team on three events. She finished the season ranked 13th in the all-around and 15th on bars.
