Hawkeyes Release 2026 Fall Schedule

The University of Iowa men’s golf team will compete in four fall tournaments during the fall season, the announcement was made Tuesday by head coach Tyler Stith.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa men’s golf team will compete in four fall tournaments during the fall season, the announcement was made Tuesday by head coach Tyler Stith.

The Hawkeyes will open the season by hosting the ANF Fall Classic at Blue Top Ridge Golf Course in Riverside, Iowa, on Sept. 8-9.  It will be the first of three fall tournaments in the Midwest.

Iowa will also compete in the Inverness Intercollegiate in Toledo, Ohio, from Sept. 13-15, the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Indiana, on Oct. 4-5 and the Fallen Oak Collegiate in Biloxi, Mississippi, in its fall finale from Oct. 17-19. 

The Hawkeyes will also send individuals to two events -- the Bluejay Invitational in Omaha, Nebraska on Sept. 21-22 and the Zach Johnson Invitational in West Des Moines, Iowa, on Oct. 19-20.

Iowa returns five letterwinners from the 2025-26 roster, including PING All-Midwest Region and second-team All-Big Ten selection Ryan Shellberg. Third-year Grant Gudgel (71.8 scoring average), third-year Shellberg (72.0), fourth-year Maxwell Tjoa (72.2), third-year Jack McCarty (73.7) and Bennett Warren (74.6) also return.

The Hawkeyes also add three first-year players – Andrew Johannsen, Joey Scott and Cody Weaver

The team’s spring schedule will be released later this fall.
