For generations, Hawkeye fans have defined what makes Saturdays in Iowa City special. From the first football game in 1889 to the unforgettable moments created inside Kinnick Stadium, the passion of Hawkeye Nation has helped build one of the most iconic traditions in college football.

In just two weeks, that tradition continues.

This fall, more than 69,000 fans will once again fill Kinnick Stadium, creating one of the most electric environments in the country. Whether you're returning to your familiar seat or making your first trip to Iowa City, every game presents an opportunity to be part of the next chapter in Hawkeye history. Put on your Black and Gold, arrive early, and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Introducing the NEW Tigerhawk Beer Garden Presented by Mullets
Game day starts earlier and gets even better in 2026 with the debut of the Tigerhawk Beer Garden presented by Mullets.

Located in Krause Family Plaza on the south side of Kinnick Stadium, the Tigerhawk Beer Garden will become a premier pregame gathering place for Hawkeye fans. Opening three hours before kickoff for most games and four hours prior for select matchups, fans can enjoy food, beverages, activations, entertainment, and more throughout the season.

No game ticket is required to enter the Tigerhawk Beer Garden area, although guests must pass through stadium security screening.

New Energy Inside Kinnick
When the gates open, fans will immediately notice an enhanced game day atmosphere.

Popular DJ One Way will be stationed in the student section during pregame, bringing energy to the stadium from the moment fans enter. Additionally, fan favorite Oz Agbese joins returning host Laura VandeBerg as part of the in-game entertainment team, helping create an even more engaging and exciting experience throughout the season. In-game, Rod Lehnertz, who also serves as the public address announcer for Iowa Wrestling, begins his first season as the in-stadium voice of the Hawkeyes.

Support the Hawkeyes
Fans can also enjoy the newly released Tigerhawk Premium Lager, available throughout Kinnick Stadium through Iowa Athletics' partnership with Big Grove Brewery, the Official Craft Brewery of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Even better, every purchase helps support Iowa Athletics, allowing fans to contribute to the future success of Hawkeye programs while enjoying game day.

The popular Round-Up for Flight Funds initiative is returning this season. Fans purchasing concessions can round up their transactions to support Hawkeye student-athletes. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Hawkeye Nation, more than $50,000 was raised last year to support Iowa Athletics through this program.

Stay Informed Before You Arrive
Each week, the Athletics Ticket Office will send a detailed game day email to ticket holders with important information regarding parking, stadium entry, schedules, and fan experiences.

Fans can also visit HawkeyeSports.com/footballgameday to review the latest game day information before arriving at Kinnick Stadium.

Important Entry Updates for Gate A
Fans entering through Gate A will notice a change this season. With the addition of the Tigerhawk Beer Garden in Krause Family Plaza, ticket scanning for Gate A has been relocated behind the Nile Kinnick statue at the entrance to the south concourse. Security screening locations entering Krause Family Plaza remain unchanged. Fans entering Kinnick Stadium through the south concourse must have a valid game ticket.

Faster Stadium Entry with Tap-and-Go Ticketing
Getting into Kinnick Stadium just became easier. Tap-and-Go NFC ticketing will now be the standard at all stadium entry points, including premium seating areas. Fans are encouraged to have tickets loaded into their mobile wallet prior to arrival. Please note that screenshots of tickets will not be accepted for entry.

Prepared for Every Situation
The safety of fans remains a top priority.

In the event of severe weather, Iowa Athletics will communicate updates through social media, HawkVision displays, and the public address system. If severe weather occurs prior to the start of the game, entry into the stadium may be halted or delayed depending on conditions. A reminder that shelter locations include the Indoor Track, Carver-Hawkeye Arena, Field House and Dental Building. Fans needing assistance inside the stadium can contact a member of the stadium staff or text the Gameday Hotline at 319-384-3000.

The countdown is on.

In two weeks, the Black and Gold return to Kinnick Stadium. The traditions remain strong, new experiences await, and another unforgettable season is ready to begin.
