3 Hawkeyes to Compete in Bluejay Invitational

Three University of Iowa men’s golf student-athletes — third-year Jack McCarty and first-years Joey Scott and Cody Weaver — will compete in the Bluejay Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Shadow Ridge Country Club (7,013-yard, par 72) in Omaha, Nebraska.

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Three University of Iowa men’s golf student-athletes — third-year Jack McCarty and first-years Joey Scott and Cody Weaver — will compete in the Bluejay Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Shadow Ridge Country Club (7,013-yard, par 72) in Omaha, Nebraska. 

The format will be an individual tournament with no team scoring. The field includes Creighton, Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Northern Iowa, Iowa, Nebraska, Omaha, Bradley and Lindenwood. 

Thirty-six holes will be played on Tuesday, beginning with a 9 a.m. (CT) shotgun start. The final 18 holes will be contested Tuesday.
