Iowa Athletics Announces Event Time Changes

Due to forecasted high temperatures throughout the weekend, the University of Iowa has announced schedule changes for several athletic events.

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Due to forecasted high temperatures throughout the weekend, the University of Iowa has announced schedule changes for several athletic events.

The Hawkeye Invite cross country meet on Friday will now begin at 8 a.m. (CT) with the women's 4,000-meter race. The men's 6,000-meter race will follow at approximately 8:30 a.m. Iowa field hockey's matchup against Lehigh has been moved to an 11:30 a.m. start.

On Saturday, the neutral-site field hockey game between Lehigh and Ball State will begin at 11:30 a.m. Iowa football's game against Northern Illinois remains unchanged and is scheduled for a 3:16 p.m. kickoff.

On Sunday, Iowa field hockey's game against Ball State has been moved to an 11:30 a.m. start, while Iowa soccer's match against Missouri State will begin at noon.
