Iowa Announces 2026-27 Indoor Schedule

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa Director of Track and Field Joey Woody announced the 2026-27 schedule on Wednesday. Iowa will host three indoor meets at the Hawkeye Indoor Track Facility.

Iowa opens the indoor season at home on Dec. 11-12 with the Jimmy Grant Alumni Invitational & Multi. After winter break, Iowa welcomes programs for the annual Larry Wieczorek Invitational & Multi on Jan. 22-23. The team will host the Iowa Open on Feb. 20 in preparation for the postseason. 

The Hawkeyes will travel to several premier meets during the indoor season, including the Meyo Invitational (Jan. 29-30), New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 5-6), and the Tyson Invitational (Feb. 13-14). 

The Big Ten Indoor Championships are hosted in Indianapolis for the third consecutive year and will take place Feb. 25-27. This year’s NCAA Indoor Championships will be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, March 12-13.
