Led her Crookston High School basketball team to a third-place finish at the Minnesota Class AA state tournament as a senior… a McDonald[apos]s all-American nominee… averaged 19.8 points, 6.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 steals her senior campaign… Coaches Association first team and Associated Press second team all-state selections… Minnesota Breakdown Magazine Player of the Year as a senior… the 2008 Miss Minnesota Basketball finalist finished her career averaging 17.2 points, 5.1 assists, 2.9 steals and 3.9 rebounds… as Crookston[apos]s starting point guard for four-plus seasons, the Pirates were 114-18… averaged 19.9 points for and led her team to a 24-3 record her junior year… established school records in assists, steals, field goals and broke her older brother Kenley’s record for scoring… her team finished second in the Minnesota state tournament her sophomore campaign, where she was recognized on the all-tournament squad… tabbed Minnesota Coaches Association All-State and was her team’s MVP her junior and senior seasons… sank 47 consecutive free throws… three-year captain, she boasted a 4.0 GPA and is a National Honor Society member… also lettered in track and was a state qualifier in the 400 meters and 4×400 relay… played on the same AAU team (North Tartan Larson) as Draxten the summer of 2007.
