2015-16 — Swam a collegiate-best in 100 breast (58.17)… had season-bests of 50.25 (100 back), 1:49.55 (200 back), and 200 IM (1:50.10)… swam to an individual win in 100 back in season-opening dual at Illinois Chicago (9/26)… Academic All-Big Ten… named to UI’s Dean’s list for fall semester.
2014-15 — Posted collegiate-best times in the 100 free (46.83), 100 butterfly (54.97), and 200 IM (1:49.48)… 200-IM time was the second-fastest on the team… member of team’s second-fastest 400 free relay (3:01.08) and third-fastest 400 medley relay team (3:25.27)… 200 IM time ranks 10th all-time… posted 22 top-5 finishes… named Academic All-Big Ten… named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester… letterwinner.
2013-14 — Swam a career best time in the 100-back (49.14) at Big Ten Championships to rank eighth in program history… recorded a career-best time in the 200-IM (1:49.81) at the Hawkeye Invitational, while swimming a personal-best 4:01.93 at Big Ten Championships… was a member of the 400 medley relay team that swam the ninth-fastest time in program history (3:14.66)… recorded eight top-five individual finishes and three top-two finishes in relays… Academic All-Big Ten… letterwinner.
2012-13 — Swam collegiate best times in the 100 free (47.57) at the Northwestern Invitational, 500 free (4:51.06) at the Black & Gold Intrasquad, 100 back (50.65) at the Hawkeye Invitational, 200 back (1:47.88) and 200 (1:50.52), and 400 IM (4:01.01) at the Big Ten Championships… posted three top 10 finishes… letterwinner.
High School — Earned All-America honors in the 100 back as a senior… two-time all-state honoree… four-time all-conference and all-district selection… Junior National qualifier… earned High Point Award and named team MVP all four years… was the state champion in the 200 IM and 100 back as a senior… earned first team all-state honors in both events as junior and senior… four-time conference champion… best times are 51.06 (100 back), 1:53.19 (200 back), 58.96 (100 breast) and 1:53.50 (200 IM)… was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American as a junior… first team all-academic and was a Senior Scholastic Award winner… member of the National Honor Society and was academic all-state… also lettered in cross country and track and field… high school coaches were Tony Hunter and Albert Hayton… coached by Ross Burns and Steve Erling at River City Aquatics.
