Collegiate Competition — six-time all-American for the University of North Dakota (2006-07)… 2006 Division II national champion in 200 fly… 2006 North Central Conference Freshman of the Year… swam on national champion 400 medley relay sophomore year… also placed second as part of 800 free relay, third in 200 fly, seventh in 1,650 free, ninth in 400 IM and 12th in 1,000 free at 2007 national meet… seven-time conference champion… best times were 1:48.68 in 200 fly, 50.12 in 100 fly, 1:39.88 in 200 free and 4:32.79 in 500 free.
High School — letterwinner and state qualifier in swimming and cross country…. also competed in track… coached by Pete Malone and Nick Lakin.
Personal — born December 11, 1986… son of Scott and Lori Zabler… his father swam at Purdue University and his sister, Kate, swam at Stony Brook University… business major.
