Iowa Items — his best times in 100 breast (54.93), 200 breast (1:59.88) and 200 IM (1:48.79) rank fifth, fourth and first, respectively, on Iowa’s all-time best performers list… swam on 200 medley (1:29.02-2010) and 200 free (1:19.26-2010) relays that rank second and fourth respectively, in school history.

2009-10 — earned academic all-American honorable mention…led team in 200 breast (1:59.88) and 200 IM (1:47.73)… his 200 breast time ranks fourth in school history… set a new school record in the 200 IM, which ranks first in school history…. anchored 200 medley relay to ninth-place finished with NCAA B cut (1:29.02) and swam third leg on fourth-place 200 free relay (1:19.26) at Big Ten Championships… placed 12th in the 200 breast and 14th in the 200 IM at Big Ten Championships… posted 23 top-three finishes… swam on six winning relays… letterwinner.

2008-09 — led team in 100 breast (54.93), 200 breast (1:59.89) and 200 IM (1:48.79) with his swims at Big Ten Championships… anchored 200 free relay to eighth-place finish with NCAA B cut 1:19.59 and swam second leg on ninth-place 400 medley relay (3:18.27) at Big Ten Championships… the 200 IM time ranks second, 100 and 200 breast times rank fourth, the 200 free relay ranks fourth and the 400 medley relay ranks sixth on Iowa’s all-time best performers list… swam second leg on team-leading 200 medley relay (1:32.24)… placed 16th in 200 breast (2:01.18) and 22nd in 100 breast (55.96) at Big Ten Championships… posted 14 top-three finishes… academic all-Big Ten… letterwinner.

2007-08 — led team in 50 free (20.85), 100 (56.41) and 200 breast (2:04.35) and 200 IM (1:52.27)… swam on team-leading 200 medley relay (1:31.44)… the relay ranks eighth in school history… won 50 breast (27.33) vs. Western Illinois… recorded nine top-five finishes… also posted collegiate bests in 100 (47.57) and 200 free (1:52.31), and 200 back (2:00.93)… letterwinner.

High School — all-American… four-time first team all-state and team MVP… seven-time NISCA Top 16 award winner… six-time state placewinner… set nine school records… named district athlete of the year as a senior… National Honor Society member… coaches were Kim Gescheidler and Aron Nakama.
