High School — Two-time All-American in the 50 free… two-time all-state selection… four-time team Most Valuable Player… Male Athlete of the Year as a senior… team captain as a senior… holds freshman/sophomore school records in 100 breast, 100 free, and 50 free… holds junior/senior records in 100 free, 400 free, and 200 free and 400-medley relays… also played water polo… four-time all-academic honoree… high school coach was Todd Fridrych.
Personal — Born July 11, 1996… son of Jay and Laurie Risley… father swam the 100 and 200 fly at Indiana University… has an older brother, Graham, who swam at Penn State… majoring in neurobiology (pre-pharmacy).
