Hawk Item — School record holder in the 800 free relay (6:24.98)…has the 10th-fastest time in UI record books in 1,650 free (15:31.19) and the 200 free (1:37.08).

2016-17 — Swam to collegiate-best times in 100 free (45.35), 200 free (1:37.08) and posted a season-best time in 500 free (4:26.37)… member of the 800-free relay (6:24.93) that finished sixth at the Big Ten Championships and broke the school record… ranked second on the team in both the 200 and 500 free.

2015-16 — Swam collegiate-bests in 50 free (20.85) and 100 free (45.70)… had a season-best time of 1:38.35 (200 free) and 4:29.40 (500 free)… ranked third on team in 200 free… member of the team’s top 800-free relay (6:27.83)… scored at the Big Ten Championships as part of 800-free relay… placed sixth with a time of 6:27.83… was a member of two winning relays on the year.

2014-15 — Led the team in the 500 free with an NCAA “B” cut time of 4:22.76… was second on the team in the 200 free with an NCAA “B” cut time of 1:37.35… swam collegiate-best times in the 50 free (23.41), 100 free (46.03), 200 free (1:37.35), 500 free (4:22.76), and 1,000 free (9:24.96)… member of second-fastest 800-free relay (6:35.96) and fourth-fastest 200 free relay team (1:22.88)… letterwinner.

2013-14 — Led team in 1,650 free (15.31.19)… recorded collegiate-bests in 200-free (1:38.28), 500-free (4:28.57), and 1,650-free at Big Ten Championships… swam season-best time of 9:35.56 in 1,000-free against Michigan State… recorded five top-five finishes… letterwinner.

High School — Two-time All-American and all-state selection… team captain as a senior… posted three top-five finishes at the Illinois State Meet as a senior… was fourth in 200-medley relay, fifth in 400-free relay and fifth in 500 free… won six conference titles and posted two runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2013… school-record-holder in the 500 free (4:29.33), 200-medley relay (1:34.39), and 400-free relay (3:07.51)… academic all-conference selection from 2010-13… coached by Rob Rooney.

Personal — Born June 5, 1995, in Doylestown, Pa… son of Michael and Stephanie Gannon… has an older sister, Taylor, who swims at Rhode Island… majoring in human physiology.
