2008 as a Freshman… Played in 18 matches… saw first collegiate action Aug. 23 against Drake and recorded first collegiate assist… five of Sandon’s eight shots were on-goal.

High School… Iowa Elite all-state team selection as a senior… Class 2A first-team all-state selection as a senior… first-team all-conference selection as a senior and second-team all-Conference selection as junior and sophomore… two-time all-State Honorable Mention… named Urbandale’s Most Valuable Player during junior and senior seasons… co-Captain during senior season… four-time recipient of Team Hustle Award… started 69 of 70 matches during high school career… scored 59 career goals and 26 assists during high school career… led Urbandale in total points scored, goals and assists during junior and senior seasons… scored winning goal in last two minutes of 2006 Regional Final to put Urbandale into the State Soccer Tournament… played club soccer for Urbandale Premier from seven years and for Johnston-Urbandale Premier for one year… three-time Academic all-Conference selection.

Personal… Born April 6, 1990… daughter of Debbie and Mark Sandon… named to the Honor Roll through all high school semesters… earned four letters in both track and volleyball… conference champion in 100-meter hurdles as a member of the track team… also named to the Elite all-state team and the 4A all-state team as a member of the track team… accounting major… attended Urbandale High School and was coached by Jim Wright… club soccer coach was John ‘Shedzy’ Sheridan.
