#12 Lana Bonekemper Season 2013-14

2013 as a Sophomore… Saw action in 13 matches… netted one goal on nine shots… scored the game-winning goal — the first of her career — via a penalty kick in Iowa’s 1-0 road victory at Drake… member of an Iowa team that posted a school-record 15 victories, advanced to its first Big Ten Tournament championship game and earned the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance… Academic All-Big Ten honoree… letterwinner.

2012 as a Freshman… Played a total of 210 minutes in nine matches… took eight shots, including three shots on goal… played a season-high 45 minutes against North Dakota… took a season-high three shots against Northern Iowa… part of team that earned second most wins in a season in program history… letterwinner.

High School… Two-time all-state selection… earned first team all-city honors during junior and senior seasons… netted 18 goals and recorded four assists as a senior… spent six years with the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy, leading team to a state championship in 2011… four-year member of the academic honor roll.
