Delayna Kadel

Delayna Kadel is in her second year as director of football recruiting operations for the Iowa football program.

From 2023 to 2025, she served on the Wisconsin Athletics Academic Services staff as the academic advisor for women’s basketball and men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams. In March 2023, Delayna transitioned to serving as an academic advisor for football.

Prior to her tenure at Wisconsin, Kadel worked as a graduate assistant for the University of Iowa’s Student-Athlete Academic Services team. In that role, she worked with student-athletes across various sports, providing support through mentorship, academic advising, and recruiting assistance.

A native of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Kadel graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. She continued her education at Iowa, earning a master’s degree in educational policy and leadership studies on the higher education and student affairs track.
