Derek Stephens

Derek Stephens joined the Athletics Development team in November 2024. In his current role, he handles major gift fundraising focusing on the Des Moines and Central Iowa region. Prior to transitioning to athletics development, he served as a fundraiser for UI Health Care. Derek competed in Track and Field at Wartburg College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and management before earning his master’s degree in organizational management at Ashford University.
