Jack Plumb

TitleAnalyst/Offensive Line

Former Hawkeye offensive lineman Jack Plumb is in his second year as an analyst working with the offensive line for the University of Iowa football program.

In his first season on the Hawkeye staff in 2025, Plumb helped lead Iowa to nine wins, culminating in a 34-27 triumph over No. 14 Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl. The Hawkeyes finished the campaign ranked No. 17 nationally. Plumb assisted an offensive line unit that earned the coveted Joe Moore Award, presented annually to the country’s top collegiate offensive line. All five starters started all 13 games, Iowa outrushed its opponents in 10 contests, and the unit was flagged for only two accepted holding penalties all season.

Additionally in 2025, senior center Logan Jones was named a unanimous consensus All-American and awarded the Rimington Trophy. Senior guard Beau Stephens earned first-team All-America honors from The Associated Press and USA Today, and second-team All-America honors from The Sporting News and The Athletic.

Prior to joining the Hawkeye staff, Plumb served as an offensive quality control coach for the North Dakota State University football program in 2024. The Bison won the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship with a 7-1 conference record and went 14-2 overall en route to the NCAA Division I FCS national title.

During his five-year playing career as a Hawkeye offensive lineman, Iowa won the 2021 Big Ten West Division title and captured three bowl victories (the 2019 Holiday Bowl, 2020 Outback Bowl, and 2022 Music City Bowl).

A native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Plumb saw action in 45 career games, including 14 starts at right tackle. He started seven contests during his junior campaign, including the Big Ten Championship Game against second-ranked Michigan.

Plumb graduated from the University of Iowa in December 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in enterprise leadership.
