Maria “Luz” Alcala joined Iowa Athletics as an Academic Coordinator on June 18, 2024.
Luz was most recently a Graduate Assistant in Student-Athlete Academic Services here. Luz has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of Iowa.
