Sloane came to the University of Iowa in 2007 to help the athletics development team in its fundraising efforts.
In her current role, she oversees the Hawkeye Women: RISE campaign, works on leadership level fundraising, manages the athletics courtesy car program and serves as a sport liaison for Iowa women’s basketball, track and field and cross country, and rowing.
Sloane previously worked on behalf of the athletic departments at Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Northern Iowa, and the University of Wisconsin.
She was a softball and basketball letter winner at DII Morningside College, where she received her bachelor’s degree. She also earned a master’s degree from Old Dominion University.
