The No. 47 Iowa women’s tennis team were defeated by No. 21 Notre Dame, 6-1, Thursday afternoon. The Hawkeyes’ move to 8-3 in spring dual action.
The Hawkeyes’ lone point came from sophomore Chelsea Glynn. She defeated Lauren Connelly at the No. 4 spot, 7-5, 7-5.
In doubles, the duo of Meg Racette and Hillary Mintz defeated 37th-ranked Christian and Catrina Thompson, 9-8 (7-5). Iowa was unable to win the doubles point, recording losses in the other two matches.
The Hawkeyes will compete next Saturday, March 27 at Purdue.
