The University of Iowa women’s basketball team will hold its annual banquet Friday, April 8, at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville.
The banquet, which will celebrate the success of the 2004-05 women’s basketball team, begins at 7 p.m. with a program and dinner. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the event are $25. Due to limited seating and the popularity of the banquet, reservations will be accepted in the order by which they are received. To reserve tickets, contact the University of Iowa Sports Marketing Department at (319) 335-9431. Tickets will not be mailed and reservations will not be taken at the door.
Iowa’s overall record was 23-10 and finished sixth in the Big Ten with an 8-8 mark. The Hawkeyes competed in their fifth consecutive post-season tournament under Head Coach Lisa Bluder, advancing to the semifinals of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament.
