IOWA CITY, Iowa – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team will make its way across Iowa to the Drake Jamboree in Des Moines starting Friday. The three-day tournament will be held at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center.
“The Jamboree is another opportunity to get a number of quality matches and look at different doubles combos,” said UI head coach Katie Dougherty. “We’ve had a couple of great weeks of practice and I’m looking forward to seeing how it translates this weekend.”
Hawkeyes competing in the tournament include Adorabol Huckleby, Taylor Tamblyn, Carin Runefelt, and Montana Crawford. The Drake Jamboree will be Tamblyn, Runefelt, and Crawford’s second tournament of the fall season.
Other tournament participants include Iowa State, Kansas State, Drake, and Illinois State.
Tournament action begins Friday at 10 a.m. (CT).
