DES MOINES, Iowa – The University of Iowa women’s tennis team concluded another round of doubles and singles on Saturday at the Drake Jamboree. Montana Crawford and Carin Runefelt both saw wins in their singles matches. The doubles duo of Adorabol Huckleby and Taylor Tamblyn won their second match of the tournament on Saturday afternoon.
Montana Crawford defeated Mariel Ante of Drake University, 6-2, 7-6. Carin Runefelt got her win over Kansas States Livia Cirnu, 6-3, 6-4. Overall, the Hawkeyes went 2-2 in singles matches for the second day of tournament action.
Tournament play will resume on Sunday at 9 a.m. (CT).
